Derek had training in Dallas again, so this time we took the kids. We had a great time! Our hotel pool was on the roof, which the kids thought was pretty cool. We swam everyday and sometimes the planes flew right over our head. Eli started swimming by himself one evening. He went about half the length of the pool.
We also spent time with friends (three of my bridesmaids), Beth, Abby, and Jennifer. The kids got to play with Grant and Jaylee. Eli and Jaylee looked like Barbie & Ken riding around in her princess jeep.
One night we went to Medieval Times. It was a blast! As Derek said, it couldn’t have gone better. The food was pretty good and the show was great. We all really enjoyed it. We have to tell knight and princess stories every night, so it wasn’t a big surprise that Eli & Cori loved it. Our knight, the red knight, won, and then he chose Cori as the queen of love and beauty. She got a sash and tiara. She was very excited, but when he came right by her she got kinda nervous cause he was a pretty big and sweaty guy.
One day we went to the Fort Worth stock yards with Abby & Grant. We saw the longhorns, rode some rides, went to the petting zoo, and ate some BBQ. It was lots of fun!
