We enjoyed the parade. It was hot, so Derek said if I wanted him to go we were getting a gazeebo. It was Mary and Rodney’s first time, and Beth even came and brought her niece.
We didn’t get a turtle, but we watched the turtles and frogs, and Eli showed expert skill at the fish scramble. Cori was sure that she was going to do it this year, but when it came to getting in, she was a no go.
As usual, Grandma made yummy gumbo for lunch and Grandma and Papa enjoyed swinging grandkids on Meemaw and Papa’s swing.
