We decorated the mantle with some of Eli’s Lego creations.

We ate Lego brick shaped pizza with fruits and veggies.

Then opened presents.  He got lots of Legos, so he been very busy building.

Then had cake.  Eli and I looked at lots of Lego cakes on-line and he helped me decide on a design.  He picked out which 13 guys he wanted to hold the candles.  Cake making is not my forte, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out.  It was yummy too!

For games, we had Legos in a jar and people had to guess how many.  Stacy won.  The kids picked up Lego Duplo blocks with tongs and moved them from one bin to another.  And, we did an Eli mad libs (see previous post).

The Sunday before his birthday, we celebrated at the farm with Eli’s Great Aunts.

That day I made red velvet cupcakes with candy Lego guys on top (we gave them out as favors as well).
